We are a 7 month old juice bar and cafe in Queens, NY. The LLC partnership is run by my partner Trevor, and me, Cody. We have been managing our debits and credits ourselves using Quickbooks Online which is synced with our POS (Square), our Checking Account (New York Community Bank), and two business credit cards.
We need a freelance bookkeeper with experience in the restaurant business.
Services and deliverables:
- Reconcile books and ensure we are in shape to file 2018 taxes
- Identify things we are doing sub optimally or incorrectly and educate us on how we could correct this in the future
- Be available to work with our CPA as needed
- Daily updates / communication in whichever method is best for you (phone call/video call/screen share)
Special requirements for this project:
- Expertise in reconciling books at EOY
- Knowledge of accounting specialization such as federal and state tax codes for withholding, sales tax, etc.
- Experience with Quickbooks
