We are in need of upgrading our desktop personal climate control system. Our old analog dials and switches controller works well but doesn't met current market demands.
I need help designing the electronics and the software to run it. I am open to ideas to make this project any way that makes good sense and keeps costs low. I am using Raspberry Pi as an example but not requiring its use.
This product would be sold into the Command and Control furniture market. It will allow each user to adjust a variety of lighting, heat, fans, some analog push buttons. It will control the LED lighting in both simple on/Off dimming as well as DMX controlled RGBW lighting.
I am not connected to raspberry Pi or any other architecture I just want to find the best mix of cost and capability. If the costs are low enough the product could be expanded into regular office furniture markets a massive addressable market.
I would like the ability to connect by USB to a Windows PC and control the functionality from a cloned interface in Windows:
Phase 1 - Develop the hardware software connections and get a working prototype set. We will be hiring a UI developer to create the required graphics. Xybix to pay $150 upon project acceptance. Phase 1 Payment $2500
Phase 2 - Add the ability to connect by Bluetooth to our sit stand desks and adjust to each users preferred settings. Phase two payment - $2500
I will share a documents and spreadsheets for further discussion.
