I have a MySQL database (400mb). Some columns contain strings with non ascii characters. I'm importing the data to a new system via exporting to csv then importing. I need to clean the non ascii characters before exporting to csv so the new system accepts the import. I'm looking for a DBA to remove non ascii characters from columns in all tables so my export to import procedure does not hit errors so frequently.
