I have a Rails 5 web application. It currently has > 90% test coverage using RSpec, FactoryGirl, Capybara, etc. In order to support faster ongoing development, I'm looking for a developer to be in charge of building out the test suite for new features. The process would be as follows:
As the developer, you would be assigned a merge request in GitLab (similar to GitHub). Your job would be to write unit tests that cover the changes in that merge request. Occasionally this would include integration tests using Capybara.
The codebase uses CodeClimate to standardize code formatting and to measure code coverage so getting started should be pretty straightforward.
This work would probably amount to ~10 hours/week on an ongoing basis.
