PCCI is hiring an information security analyst to work with our IT security team. The analyst's primary role will be working with the security team and PCCI leadership to develop, update, and implement policies and procedures related to information security. This position will also support the security team with strategic planning, risk management, education and training, and more.
The analyst will need to have a background in computer science/information security or related field to succeed in this role and should stay up to date on IT security trends, standards, and news, especially in the healthcare field.
Strong writing and communication skills including writing IT policies, conducting trainings, and more
Knowledge of healthcare IT and security regulations and certifications (HITRUST, HIPAA, HITECH, state laws, etc.)
Knowledge of IT security trends, standards, and news
Must be capable of translating information security policies and procedures into practice
Must be a problem solver with proven capabilities to effectively identify gaps in security measures and recommend security enhancements
Must be results orientated with a high sense of urgency to deadlines
Must have exceptional planning skills with a results-oriented record of achievement and the ability to set goals, meet deadlines and evaluate results
Must have exceptional analytical, strategic and tactical ability, combined with relationship management skills and attention to detail
Must have strong organizational skills and efficiency
Must be able to work autonomously with moderate supervision as well as in team setting
