Looking to hire senior and semi Senior level PHP/Symfony back-end oriented engineers.
We're looking for team members who are passionate and committed to full time work loads. Those who are always looking for the most effective, and most efficient way to build and deploy new features into our expanding product.
You'll be working in an agile atmosphere with several other teams. We move fast and deploy often.
Here are a list of things that we use:
- PHP 7.1 , PostgreSQL and Linux
- Symfony3 framework with Doctrine 2 ORM
- Kubernetes/Docker
- Travis CI/CD
- AWS / ECS / S3 / Redshift
If you're considering applying for this job you should:
1. Have solid knowledge in PHP, OOP, and MVC patterns.
2. At least semi senior level experience with regards to Symfony 3
3. Build tests, tests, tests, tests, and lots of tests!
4. Have at least semi senior level experience in Doctrine & Postgres.
5. Work well with 'git' (we use github) with continuous integration and deployment.
6. Interface well with other team members.
7. You'll love consuming APIs (facebook, twitter, instagram, full contact)
8. Have lots of common sense.
9. You write good documentation - seriously, we're not kidding about this.
Things you should be comfortable with and have:
1. You'll be comfortable with calls - we so have daily stand-up meetings!
2. You'll be okay working in the EST in the United States.
3. You'll be comfortable speaking English.
4. You should have a great internet connection!
5. Commit at least 30 hours per week.

As a collection of teams, we're into the later stages of a complete application rewrite and data model refactor.
Our team in particular has engineered a new restful BE on top of Symfony 3's framework.
As a team, we interact with the company's other teams. In example:
- Front-End engineering team, that uses React, webpack, redux, eslint.
- SQL engineering team, that masters the art of PostGres.
- A dataops team that masters data collection into various data pipelines.
- Devops engineering team, that keeps us smooth and scaleable with Linux and other Cloud technologies.
