DVB-T2 set top box running on Linux-based software (Digital Stream DHR820xU Freeview+HD PVR).

I require the ability to sort (i.e. edit) the Channel List order, to my own specific preference. Each channel is currently set an 'id' (Primary Key), that uses an 'AUTOINCREMENT' function. This change to the software, would need to be able to permit future Channel List editing. For example, after a DVB-T frequency re-tune is completed.

The set top box has the ability to export its database structure files, to a USB Flash Drive, in SQL format. It exports them within a .tar file extension.
