I would like to enter donations into Raisers Edge efficiently. I saw sach article on how to do it but it is slightly beyond my expertise and I would rather not do it poorly and have to fix it. I would rather get it right the first time!

The donations were received through a third party platform which deposited the funds in our company bank account. Now I need to enter them into Raisers Edge. (The donations were not processed through NetCommunities, for example, or a platform that works natively with RE.)

There are about 411 credit card donations, 45 pledges, and six donations given to us 'offline' (checks).

I believe that 50-75% of the donors are existing donors in our system, but they may have used nicknames or alternate email addresses. They might also have changed home addresses, so I am not sure which data should serve as the record locator.

I would like to do this task this coming Tuesday or Wednesday (Monday is a legal holiday and we are closed).
