I have a Java .jar desktop application (Java FX) and need to wrap it into installer to make a shareware distribution package.
Payment may vary depending on complexity, will discuss with you.
This job consist of two parts:
- choose installer to use, discuss pros, cons, possibilities
- make installation package, the job itself
Requirements:
- Windows should definitely be supported, others on demand/under discussion.
- Choose a folder to install
- License key should be used for installation. It expires after defined time and requires a new one(License server instance may be run for that).
- Ability to check for new versions, download new package (may be implemented inside Java application if required)
- Free or not too expensive tool is preferable
Will be a plus if you
- know few possibilities to choose for various OS
- aware how to change application runner icon for Windows/Unix.
