ABOUT ME

I pursued my Bachelors in Physics (hons.) from St. Stephens College, Delhi University, India which shaped me up perfectly both academically and socially. The mini practical projects in my undergraduate years dealt with solving real world scientific problems of the mechanics of large number of particles (such in Large Hadron Colliders) and predicting their future motion which involved me using sophisticated algorithms like Monte Carlo and Wolff Cluster algorithm to collect and group large amount of data to fish useful properties of these particles and predict their future. These problems strengthened my practical insight of how various real-world problems are approached and solved. The detailed problem-solving helped me gain important skills required for the job at hand.

I also had Mathematics as my minor subject in college. Four semesters of Mathematics equipped me with skills in differential modelling, linear algebra and real and abstract analysis. After completing my under graduation in 2018, I pursued a Post Graduate degree in Data Science from University of Edinburgh dealing with subjects like Machine Learning, Algorithmic Modelling and Data Mining which equipped me with the knowledge of handling large amount of data and clustering them into meaningful groups to predict the possibility of desirable outcomes using programming tools like Python, C++, MATLAB and SQL. As part of my academic training, I did two Machine Learning project, namely a classification project to efficiently classify unbalanced gene data for disease prediction using Softmax and SVM and another image generation project using a new meta-learning GAN algorithm called few-shot Learning to create new anime character faces. I am also fluent in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
