ABOUT ME

I have got 4 years of experience in Grant Writing working primarily with US government and USAID as donors. My experience can be summed up as follows: • Developing Concept Notes describing challenges for onwards submission. • Writing grants proposals for various projects in line with organizational objectives. • Project Management for grants received. • initiate and lead projects from scratch. This includes related documentation for describing solutions, filling up the application forms, reports and systems for fund management, governance, transparency, and performance evaluation. • Assuming responsibility for every stage of the grants awarded. • Prepare reports for the donors, including periodic progress reports, and final grantee report while ensuring quality and accuracy. • Grant monitoring and evaluation. • Support and guidance to cross- functional team. • Developing and forging relationships with donors. • Liaison on behalf of the employer for successful advocacy of its objectives. • Budget Management (Preparation, Monitoring the spend, preparation of Dashboards). • Records Management. • Grant Close-Out. • Working collaboratively with other departmental teams such as finance, administration, academic etc.
