Person was horrible. Did bad work. Was unresponsive. Stopped replying. Took forever to make changes. And now a week later, no response, work still not finished. DO NOT hire this person or you will regret it. Most of these people wind up refunding clients so that they keep their high rating. This has become apparent.

Arti is very willing to help with client requests. In may case, however, he wasn't able to raise his skill level to do what I needed even after discussion. Perhaps I didn't describe well enough the quality level I was looking for. Or perhaps Arti didn't have the skill to do it. Either way, I would use Arti for simpler projects due to his attitude and outstanding hourly rate.

I'm sorry but she was not capable of doing the job correctly. Skills might be on the same lever, but her English is far below from what I have expected.

i'm quitting odesk.

This was as interview trial period for a position as a researcher. The contractor was given 7 days to log 3 hours to perform the task given to her. After 7 days, the contractor only completed a little over 1 hour. In terms of the ratings: Skills (3 - Good): I'm sure the competency was there, and I know the understanding of the specifications was there as we had a discussion. Quality (2 - Weak): I put this rating rather than an "Inadequate/1", because the work that was done was done "Good/3", but the actual assignment to take 3 hours was never completed, so I averaged and rated a "Weak/2" Availability (3 - Good): I do not know how often she was online, as this was a short period and she was not required to communicate with me often. Deadlines (1 - Inadequate): Again, the assignment was not completed. Communication (3 - Good): Responsiveness to the assignment was not present. She did advise that she would be away for a day, but had plenty of other days to complete this task if she was interested in doing so Cooperation (3 - Good): This category really deserves an N/A, because it did not apply to this assignment. Summary: I am sure Arti is a fantastic individual and very strong employee. However, I simply did not get a completed contract/interview/trial period/assignment from her. Maybe she no longer wished to apply for this role, I do not know - but it was never communicated to me either way. I would still consider working with this individual in the future under different circumstances. Best wishes, Arti! Jeremy
