ABOUT ME

I am Charlene Joy Baptista, from Manila, Philippines. I am currently working as a tax analyst in a firm and has a background on Australian and US taxes.

My Australian tax experience for private clients are highlighted below:
- Preparation of tax returns (income tax and fringe benefits) for individuals, trusts, companies and partnerships
- Preparation of financial statements using various softwares such as Xero (certified), Quickbooks (certified), XPA, One Source Accounts and XPA
- Preparation of relevant workpapers to support tax returns and financial statements
- Doing Management accounting jobs that involve accounts reconciliation, cash-flow reporting and bookkeeping
- Conducting trainings in income tax and fringe benefits tax for new members of the firm
- Assisting the team leads in reviewing the deliverables of my colleagues before we sent them to the Australia office.

As for my US tax experience, I have been preparing Federal and State returns for partnerships and corporations using GoSystems.

I am also very fluent in English (verbal and written) as I have been working closely with my colleagues in Australia and the United States.

Apart from that, I have good project management and communication skills since I have been handling small teams in my job.
