ABOUT ME

Writing is my mistress.
That's a bold claim for someone who isn't currently in a serious relationship, but let's not go there. Let's instead talk about how in many other ways - besides the obvious, jarring reality of my lack of a reason to call anybody/anything a "mistress" - the art of weaving words together in a symphony IS, in fact, a mistress.
Because she dances in through the windows to steal me in the night, when I'm trying (and failing) to fall asleep. She stoops to whisper a reminder my ear as I attempt to venture through other paths in my career: a reminder that, no matter where I go and what I do, I will always end up knocking on her door.
I'm a law student. That means I'm good with words - or at least, I'm supposed to be. I'd like to believe I've proven myself through three legal internships, during which I did write-ups and legal research for high-flying lawyers on legal issues.
My experience as a subeditor and subsequently a student advisor in my establishment's editorial team granted me ample opportunity to practice writing articles which not only promote various areas of the law but also shine a spotlight on people's lives and their endeavors - which I shall strive to do for you, should you be willing to consider my offers.
