ABOUT ME

Henry Adolphus is a story teller, writer and social worker. He holds certificates in fashion marketing from the University of Leeds, UK and Fiction Writing from The Open University, UK and he is currently pursuing a degree at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Nigeria. Henry has had his work published in several anthologies and journals across the globe including Granta and The New Yorker. In March 2017, he was announced winner of the Alt Publish Writing Contest in Idaho, USA and In 2016, he was honored with an award certificate by the GOI Peace foundation Essay Competition in conjunction with the UNESCO Global Action Program in Education for Sustainable Development in Tokyo, Japan. Henry was recently appointed to represent -UK based publishing company- Hammond House in Africa, and was selected to deliver a presentation at the British Council's 12th International Language and Development Conference held in Senegal in November 2017. Henry is the founding Editor-in-Chief of The Henreaders Review and the convener of Prize for Fiction, a writing competition hosted annually to reward promising writers of fiction in Africa and the Diaspora and The Henreaders Review, a new literary magazine established to promote new and emerging writers, poets and artists. He currently lives in Anambra Nigeria.
