ABOUT ME

I am a passionate writer with four years’ experience in the industry, writing for various online media portals. For the past four years I have gained experience writing in different styles for numerous target audiences on topics such as sports, technology, travel, health care and HR management. I currently write for a client who requires me to write crisp and engaging short stories and create listicles on diverse topics.
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in English and a Post-Graduate diploma in Human Resource Management. In addition to my freelance writing experience, I have eight years of work experience as a Human Resource professional. Throughout the eight years of my career I have worked across all levels in the organization, introduced employee benefits programs, improved staff performance through the implementation of training and development programs and initiated several policies that support the organizational goals.
As a published short story writer and blogger, my strengths are brevity and clarity, whilst ensuring that form and structure are not compromised with. I am constantly working on skills that can enhance my reader’s experience and my primary focus is to make content aesthetically pleasing and interactive as possible. In my experience, the digital readers of today love to engage and connect and I consistently try to incorporate creative elements in my writing that adds value to their reading experience. As a writer, I enjoy conducting the necessary research to make my articles relevant current and interesting and I bring my industry knowledge and experience to every project I tackle.
At a personal level I am someone who is able to put forward novel approaches and viewpoints to my writing assignments. I am a good communicator who can adapt my writing style to target a specific audience and multi task as required. I bring a lot of energy and enthusiasm to my work and do what it takes to get the job done. My enthusiasm for seizing challenges outside my comfort zone is demonstrated by the fact that I have assumed various roles that were thrown at me from time to time and delivered operational results. I have always prided myself taking on newer challenges to enhance my learning curve.
