ABOUT ME

Hi! This is Lavkush. I have masters in English literature and linguistics. I have worked with Ramakrishna Mission Home of Service, Varanasi for more than 8 years. Initially, I worked as a librarian and later on as a copyeditor and edited 10+ books including booklets, wrote dozens of press releases (English & Hindi), and edited short film scripts which are available on YouTube. Also did several translation. And taught communicative English to underprivileged children.

    I worked as a copy editor with the Health Promotion Programme of Ramakrishna Mission Home of Service, Varanasi, India. During the 150th Anniversary Celebration of Swami Vivekananda, I studied the articles collected on the philosophical & educational ideas of Swami Vivekananda. Typed, proofread, supervised the press proceedings, & managed the distribution of the books. Prepared & edited 4 books published during the project. Wrote more than 10 press releases which were published in local newspapers. Worked as an associate editor of several published books. So, I learnt a lot from work.
    This book has been published on 15 April 2023. I have worked on the book as a proofreader & editor along with that I worked on several other aspects; translations of the various concepts, making content crystal clear for student-oriented language, and press proceeding. I have developed the research and competitive-based questions - MCQs, fill in the blanks, matching the column, and assertion & reasoning to promote concept-based learning. This book will work as a foundation course resource material for the MBBS entrance exam in India through the NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test).
    I was working on the book Schizophrenia: A Manual to Work with Patients & Their Families, as a Technical Proofreader during the end of 2019. But along with that I worked on the book extensively that is I read it several times to make it error-free. I learned the software Corel Draw to work on the graphics & did press proceedings, and applied for an ISBN. Finally, we published it in February 2020 just before the worse COVID-19 hit in India. This is the manual that my team and I at Vivek Sanjivani use for taking the history of patients, psychoeducation, mental status exams & counseling.
    I wrote this scholarly article at the end of 2019 on the philosophical ideas of Swami Vivekananda. It is a 7 seven pages long doc with bibliography. This is under publication.
    This scholarly piece - I wrote at the end of 2019. It is a 13-page comprehensive document which is under publication.
    I am planning for my PhD in the domain of Early Language Development and Communication Language Disorders. I wrote to more than two dozen Professors from Australia and the USA. I am in touch with one of the professors at the US university. So, I wrote this comprehensive and scientific research proposal. This document is 11 pages long.
    Recently I applied to a university in the US for which I needed to write a Statement of Purpose or Statement of Goals. This document I wrote in 2023 which is 3 pages long.
    This press release I wrote on 14th May 2022 was published in Pioneer English Daily newspaper.
