Procurement:
• Manage Processes critical to the efficient functioning of procure to pay process.
• Managing more than 120 Crore plus of Buying per year.
• Planning of material for Imports and Local procurement to achieve procurement targets.
• Confirm the receipts of Goods against purchase orders and recommend accounts for payment approval as per agreed terms of purchase order.
• Coordinating with clearing agents (CHA's & FORWARDERS) to achieve timely receipts of imported material.



Sourcing
• Worked in close co-ordination vendors, project teams and ensured the lowest and best prices and submitted for electronic & electromechanical, fabricated components as per Bill of Material.
• Planning the business strategy i.e. execution of RFQ for different market segments like Instrumentation, High current and High voltage applications, Telecom, Networking, Industrial, consumer electronics.
• Preparing cost estimates & price quotes on new business as well as re-negotiate/re-develop new sources for better price margins.
• Analyzing quotations as regards to price, lead time, MOQ, Inco-terms & TCO etc. and negotiating suppliers as per the requirements and needs. Formulating and implementing strategies for purchase of materials as per requirements.
• Hands on experience on Excel, Oracle 11i, and sourcing application tool for product pricing and supplier base development.

Vendor/Materials Management:
• Identifying and developing potential vendors/suppliers for achieving cost effective purchases, achieving price reduction, timely deliveries.
• Assessing performance of vendors based on various criteria such as quote receipt cycles, percentage cost reductions, timely deliveries etc.
• Conducting the inventory analysis on the basis of ABC classification, Activity based costing, TCO and ensuring excess stock level is kept at the minimal level.
• Managing the entire gamut of Materials Management activities including monitoring inventory levels and stocks.
• Prepare MIS reports on Monthly basis.

Stores Management:
• Overseeing the stores management and maintaining reduced inventory levels.
• Minimising variance in stocks by conducting perpetual stock audits & documentation.
• Implementing SOPs & maintaining compliance with these laid down procedures.

Quality Assurance & ISO 9000:
• Implementing ISO 9000 and 9002 at organization level.
• Monitoring adherence to quality systems and standards.
