I am a Norwegian graphic designer currently situated in Canada. I recently graduated from Curtin University in Australia with Bachelor of Arts (Honours). My strengths are in editorial design, branding and poster design.
In my last year of study I did a research project that involved the combination of creative practice and academic writing which resulted in the book “my swiss world” (see portfolio) accompanied by a thesis. With very little previous writing experience (especially in my second language), this research project was a time consuming challenge, but highly valuable to both my design- and writing skill.
The project involved investigation into applying the Swiss design philosophy and design principles into my present-day graphic design practice. This experience made me interested in a minimalist design approach that communicates efficiently and effective without unnecessary clutter and is now a large part of my design philosophy.
