ABOUT ME

I have been working as an Associate Paraplanner from April 2017 and promoted as an Senior Paraplanner on March 2020. I have been assigned under the Paraplanning Team (Australia Account) and this is my first job since I graduated. This job is one of the big challenge for me as all the knowledge I've learned from this field is different from my subjects in College and I'm proud of myself because I survived and I learned a lot of things about Paraplanning in Australia. To summarize my tasks as a Senior Financial Planner, this includes writing a pre vet document confirming the strategy recommendation to the adviser, writing Statement of Advice (SoA), preparing Cash Flow Projection, Wealthsolver, Risk Researcher thru software (Xplan and Midwinter) and to do some post vet review of my co-workers tasks. I have also an experienced in doing some Admin tasks such as writing a Working Papers, Record of Advice, Progress Review, Ongoing Service Agreement, Review Report, Post SoA processes, Super and Investment Research and Fact Finding. Despite of all the challenge, stress, and confuse that I've experienced and encountered during the learning process about all the things that I need for my current job, here I am still happy and of course continuously learning more about this field. I am blessed to be part of the Paraplanning team beacause I learned a lot and I will carry this experienced in my entire life. I am Maria Lorena Layda Artagame, a graduate of Business Administration major in Financial Management in Columban College, Olongapo City and I believe my willingness to learn and positivity in life will keeps me going into this career.
