ABOUT ME

I am working as a Research Consultant at Center for Environmental and Geographic Information Services (CEGIS), a prominent consultancy farm in the country. I involved in Land Acquisition Plan (LAP) survey for Chittagong Water Logging Project. I also conduct different kind of GIS mapping for the project. I also worked as Research Assistant with Professor Sheikh Tawhidul Islam, Director Institute of Remote Sensing and GIS (IRS&GIS-JU), Jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh. My works with Professor Islam includes handling remote sensing and GIS data in assessing the impacts of the flash flood (happened in 2017 in haor basin), vulnerability assessment (in Dakhin Bedkashi Mauza) and landslide hazard (in Chittagong regions). I also regularly take part as a teaching assistant in capacity development training programs at IRS&GIS-JU. I also done a research on Land Surface Temperature (LST) change in Dhaka city.

I received my B.Sc. Honor’s degree from Department of Geography & Environment, Jahangirnagar University and also appeared M.Sc. examination from Department of Geography & Environment, Jahangirnagar University. I was excited while looking at the announcement since I strongly consider myself fit for the position because I completed training on GIS & Remote Sensing, Google Earth Engine, Statistical software ‘R’. I also completed different online trainings organized by NASA’s Applied Remote Sensing Training (ARSET).
