ABOUT ME

I have 5 years of experience working as Salesforce administrator and developer. I have worked on the admin side with custom objects, fields, validation rules, workflows, process builders, security settings, profiles and have also worked in development with apex code and visual force pages. I am a certified salesforce administrator. Some of the projects I have worked are: 1. SMS Gateway Integration: Integrated SMScountry gateway using apex code. The requirement was to send SMS for multiple conditions through various objects. I used custom settings to save templates. These were picked by apex code as per criteria passed by the batch class. The same was scheduled to run everyday using salesforce cron jobs. Another cron job pulls data from the SMS gateway for the status of sent SMS and updates the same to salesforce. Users could also send the SMS through a visual force button. 2. Created lead form for website, and routed the leads though queues to various executives. 3. Updating excel sheet received from banks through Pentaho Data Integration directly into salesforce. These were ETL jobs that read the excel files saved on the server, and updated them everyday in salesforce. Some jobs exported data from salesforce and sent them as attachment to various users. 4. Integrating website mysql database with Salesforce using Pentaho. This job scheduled to run everyday, would pull the online transactions data from the mysql database and save the data directly in salesforce. This reduced the manual entry work which otherwise took hours of the data entry team. 5. Automating the process for Vertical Response installed in the salesforce instance to send mass emails. The requirement was to update the status of sent/bounced emails in a custom object and further send the details of the contact (for which email got bounced) though excel to the support team. This automated the entire process rather then querying bounced emails and sending them to support team to update the correct email. If the email was successfully sent, a confirmation SMS was sent after updating the status. 6. Created multiple reports and dashboards, for use of various departments. Strengths and Skills: 1. I have excellent communication and listening skills. I am fluent in verbal and written English. 2. I tend to look for simplest solutions for any requirement. 3. I will not commit, unless I am confident of completing it.
