After completing my Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Columbia University's School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, I decided to switch tracks and pursue the field of Education. I have worked as a teaching assistant for the Girls Who Code summer immersion program, a teacher for a nonprofit after-school program called STEM Kids NYC, a teaching fellow at the Generation Teach summer academy, a full-time teacher at Catapult Learning, and a teaching assistant at a maximum security detention center in Brooklyn. As a native English speaker, I have also worked as a private tutor and teacher in English for students around the world, of a wide range of ages. As Albert Einstein said, “Those who have the privilege to know have the duty to act,” and that remains my unwavering motto in my teaching career.
