A Database administrator (DBA) with experience designing, coding, testing and supporting database Solutions in SQL Server and Oracle enterprise environments. Some of my achievements over the years are summarized below:
8+ years of experience in Database Administration and Developer for large databases in SQL Server 2016, 2014, 2012, SQL Server 2008 R2, 2008, designing Stored Procedures/Transact-SQL coding.
3+ years experience in application and database development.
Managed and administered 500+ user databases in 126 instances. Initiated a project to consolidate SQL servers and to reduce SQL server sprawl. I successfully reduced the number of databases to under 200 on 76 instances.
Expertise in Always-On Availability Groups (AAG) and HA/DR Troubleshooting.
Successfully migrated database instances for Power BI, Solarwind, eRoom, Skype For Business and SharePoint Application into an Always-on Availability Group.
Expert in task automation of business processes as regards to data management.
Experience in Disaster Recovery Planning and Security Management operations.
Experience in Installation of SQL Server vNext on Linux Platform, and configuring Always-On Availability Groups (AAG)
