ABOUT ME
Dear recruitment, I am a fully qualified British teacher currently working in Bahrain with certified credentials in accordance to the Bahrain Ministry of Education requirements. Over the past 5 years’ I have developed an inclusive teaching experience in various schools and across different age groups. My BSc. degree in Psychology paved a good foundation for me to take on my first post in the education sector as a SEN assistant teacher, due to my understanding of child psychological developmental needs. After successfully completing an International Post Graduate Certificate in Education at Master level I was timetabled to teach both Key stages 1 and 2 respectively. Teaching in diverse schools that use different curriculums allowed me to shape a strong understanding of the various teaching approaches used in different educational establishments. In addition to my experience in primary stage class teaching I have also taught English Language to age 15 - 17 in a Language institute to cover maternity leave. Apart of my track record in the teaching field I developed excellent leadership qualities through managing and leading many after school club activities as well as working with special educational needs students as a preventative measures tutor working closely with the parents, and school to promote the best possible learning experience for each pupil according to their needs. Working as part of a team is a key factor to my success as a fully rounded professional. The current pandemic of Covid-19, have challenged all educationalists to a novel way of content delivery and shaped new teaching strategies through distant learning. Once more I raised to the challenge and was put in charge of creating English lessons for all year 2 and year 3 classes (a total of 6 classes). I have adapted a technological approach towards my teaching methodologies which includes, Google classroom and Microsoft Office 365 (MS teams, MS OneNote and MS PowerPoint etc.). In addition to high level of competence in using technology to aid student learning such as designing and conducting online lessons through presentations, videos I pride myself on making sure that each student under my care gets a constructive feedback on submitted work. I trust that my skills and experiences combined with my qualifications put me in a good stead for an online teaching position.
