ABOUT ME

I have been working in the Medical Transcription Industry since last 17 years with the last 15 years being in the capacity of editor. During this span, I have had an opportunity of editing the files of varied medical specialties including Radiology, Orthopedic Surgery, Neurosurgery, Physical Therapy, Impairment rating, Psychiatry, OB-GYN, Medicine, ENT, Ophthalmology, Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Plastic Surgery, Dermatology, etc. I can boast of a very successful track record as an editor with my accuracy being consistently close to 100%. I have been working from home since last 15 years and hence can confidently work independently with minimum to no assistance and can get acquainted with the requirements of a client very quickly. I always complete the work before the required turn around time. While working with so many different clients during my long career as an editor, I am able to understand the different kinds of accents and have also worked with clients from Saudi Arabia aside from of course numerous US clients. I am a Microbiology Honors graduate and have also worked with the pharmaceutical giant, Cipla Pharmaceuticals, for a few years before joining the MT industry. Thus, I have an edge in understanding the medical terminology as well as have a fair knowledge of medicines. I have all the requisite infrastructure at my home including an upgraded computer, high speed internet connection, power backup, and an undisturbing working environment. I am confident that with my expertise, ability to work independently and a very professional attitude, my clients will always be satisfied with my work and I will prove to be an asset for them. I am also open to general English transcription and editing/proofreading, English typing jobs and data entry work.
