ABOUT ME

My name is Shweta Govil, visual designer born in Delhi and based in Mumbai. I completed BFA (Applied Art) from Jamia MilIia Islamia in 2008 and Post Graduate Diploma Program in Graphic Design from National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad in 2011. My interest in children's publication genre led to diploma design internship with Katha, Delhi in 2011. In 2012, DMA (DY Works), Mumbai gave me broader understanding of user driven design while working on FMCG Packaging. Creative designer in Crocus Design and Entertainment Design Company, Delhi made me to learn how to do magic wand of adobe software in creating meaningful design and importance of craftsmanship and aesthetics. Future Ideas, Mumbai 2013, took me through process of connecting the dots between consumer driven design thinking.

After a small stint in design field, I plunged to start independently as a visual designer and apply all my design learning and continue to learn and get aspire.
