ABOUT ME

After completing my HSC, I decided to work in the field of IT in order to learn the field reality. Starting from the lowest level made me realized many things regarding working under supervision, strict deadlines and odd hours. I was able to develop better time management abilities which allowed me to juggle effectively between family, work and leisure time. This work and leisure balance brought maturity in me and helped me to developed strong commitments towards my work. I personally believe that I have reached a point where I can call myself a professional with IT and also people skills. I have a complete understanding that each employer is different but have the same expectation from an employee in terms on work commitment, ownership and flexibility. I understand that I am the flag bearer of a company even after working hours and know that people will judge the company based on my feedbacks and behaviour in the society. My role has always been to promote and keep a good reputation of the companies that I have worked for in the past.
During my years of work and at University, in terms of technical I have acquired and learned these following IT skills:
1. Appreciate the functioning of a computer system and its operating systems.
2. Understand the principles of software development and data modeling.
3. Design and develop network based solutions.
4. Assist Network Administrators in maintaining a secured network, firewalls and detection systems.
5. Develop standalone or distributed applications.
6. Switching techniques.
7. Network Layer protocols: Ipv4 and IPv6.
8. Communication & Networking Design & Management
