We need a little program to monitor printer supplies.
The following conditions are necessary:
- Client works on Windows 10 and Windows Server 2012
- MySQL Database, PHP and Java are allowed
- Monitoring of selected Printers (should be expandable)
How should it work?
The client is installed on one of the computers and take information about the levels of the printer supplies (Ink or toner) .
The client sends this information every 4 hours to the webserver.
The client should be able to login by entering one time a licence number (which we can create, allow or deny on the server).
The web platform safes the last 10 information and it should be possible to set a level on what the server sends a notification by mail with the licence number, the name of the printer (defined on the web platform) and the value (means: Licence 123, Printer Epson WF-5690DWF, Yellow 10%, Cyan 10%).
It should be possible to select per printer on what level the platform should inform by mail.
It only have to be a safe and small web platform - we don't need any design on it - the functionality is in focus.
