Required Content Writing freelancer for Content Writers Needed job

We are looking for strong, experienced SEO writers to join our team and new project. This project will begin in a month, so we're seeking to hire writers immediately. We need writers to enrich our clients' websites with blog posts. Content Writer's responsibilities include conducting thorough research on industry-related topics, generating ideas for new content types, and proofreading articles before publication. If you're familiar with producing online content and have an eye for detail, we'd like to meet you.

All positions are long-term contracts (lasting at least six months). The project consists of blog posts ranging from 350 to 700 words. All writer applicants must complete an SEO test and sample article. However, please include a link to or an attachment of your portfolio and/or current and completed projects. The article fee breakdown is as follows: $10 per 100 written words. Thus, a 500-word article is worth $50.

Ultimately, you'll deliver quality writing pieces that appeal to several audiences, attract customers to clients' websites, and boost brand awareness.

Core Responsibilities:

1. Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews, and studies)
   
2. Write concise, informative blog posts that also promote products/services
   
3. Prepare well-structured drafts using Content Management Systems
   
4. Proofread and edit blog posts before publication
   
5. Submit work to editors for input and approval
   
6. Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
   
7. Identify customers' needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
   
8. Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images, and tone)
   
9. Update website content as needed

Requirements:

1. Proven work experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter, or similar role
   
2. Portfolio of articles (published or non-published)
   
3. Experience doing research using multiple sources
   
4. Familiarity with web publications
   
5. Excellent writing and editing skills in English
   
6. Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress)
   
7. Ability to meet deadlines.
