We have two small jobs for our jekyll site:
1. We want to change the look and behavior of our auto-generated table of contents to be exactly the same as that used on the ahrefs blog. I will share some sample with you, once you have shortlisted for this task.
I want it to look and act EXACTLY the same - the only difference is that it should only show h2's.
It should be the same size, site and scroll the same way, highlight over the section the user is looking at. Basically copy everything about it except for the font.
2. Our previous web developer forgot to add bootstrap when he started to make the site. I tried to add it myself, but it ended up affecting some of our custom css. What i really need is bootstraps grids to work.
We have some tables that look like the image1 (attached) but we need them. The reason they dont work is because bootstrap is not installed on our site.
To fix this, we need you to either implement bootstrap on the site without it affecting the current custom css OR figure out how to just implement bootstraps grid. I know if you down load there source code, there is a grid folder in it, but it seems to have some other dependencies elsewhere.
This is a brand new site so there isn't a ton of spaghetti code to work with. It should be pretty straightforward to make these changes quickly if you a competent front end dev with any experience in jekyll. I would do it myself but i dont have the time and im not an expert.
If you do this job i will give you temporary access to our github to make pull requests. Please make comments for everything you add to explain it for future devs. please also make instruction commit comments as you work.
