AIX consultant will be required to primarily maintain an existing AIX kernel/Filesystem based product.
Consultant needs to address the bugs/issues that are reported on the product.
Skills needed around AIX filesystem and system call interfaces.
The overall tasks include
1. Product , Code and Design understanding of the existing code
Consultant will be provided product hands-on training and brief overview of the architecture.
Consultant has to build understanding of the code and internal details of the implementation.
2. Handling customer escalation, issues or bugs to be fixed
Consultant needs to be able to debug/root cause analysis/fix issues reported by the customer or internal team. The nature of issues could
be crash / functionality failure / porting to new kernel version. Consultant might have to engage to provide debug steps /scripts to replicate or debug
the code.
