DSticks is a drumstick subscription company. It's pretty similar to the Dollar Shave Club in that drummers can signup and get drumsticks sent to them every month. We also just recently launched a new 'Discovery Box' that sends random drumsticks to our customers. This offering is starting to get real traction for us.

We need to find a key person for this role that knows how to make deals happen. The ideal person would know how to find leads in the drumming and music industry, contact the right decision makers, and make a deal happen.

We see 3 core tasks the ideal candidate would manage in this role:

- Lead generation-
We will collaborate together to come up with a big list of potential partners to contact. After we come up with our list, we will need you to figure out how to get in contact with the right people. This will include digging around on the company's website, LinkedIn, etc.

-Relationship Building-
We don't see this role as a high-pressure sales gig. We want to build long-term relationships with companies we want to partner with to help us grow. That takes time, patience, and persistence. The ideal person for this role will have experience using a CRM tool like Hubspot to manage deal flow and stay in contact long enough to make real deals happen.

-Strategic Dealmaking-
The ideal candidate for this role will know how to stay organized and understand how to connect the dots between what we (DSticks) need and what a potential partner wants to accomplish. A good example of this might consist of connecting with a drumstick manufacturer and finding out about an upcoming product launch they are working towards. Seeing that as an opportunity to partner, the ideal candidate for this role would help us plan a future 'Discovery Box' that could feature that new product from the potential drumstick partner and help us figure out how to make that all happen.

The performance for this role will be measured by:
- Lead/contact activity: How many people are you contacting.
- Lead flow: How many leads are you moving through a deal pipeline in our CRM.
- Deals: How many deals are you making happen and how large are those deals.
