Building a Ladder Logic program for Allen Bradley PLC.
We have 3 different food containers that are to be mixed in different proportions with the turn of the table. One container has a color, second has sugar and third has the plain yogurt. Customers will decide how much they want of each and the corresponding bar code will be generated. For example, customer A can ask for no sugar but color added to yogurt only. Customer B can ask for two shots of liquid sugar and two shots of color to the yogurt and so on. The customer preference will be stored in bar code and then this bar code will be applied to yogurt container. The yogurt container will then pass in front of the scanner which will read the information and then pass that as input to the PLC to actuate the solenoid valve sequentially of the 3 different tanks - sugar, color, and yogurt. It is event-driven, that with each turn/index the container moves under the next fill point( sugar, color or yogurt) and it fills the container with that.
Key Points - sequential.
Input is variable and quantities can change, all the time
Bar code will give the input that PLC will process.
