We are a general construction contractor seeking an experienced estimator to perform a materials take-off and job cost estimate for the Trail Creek Bridge project. We would prefer the estimate to be prepared with SharpeSoft estimating software, but are open to other formats. We need to know the estimated man-hours for each task and basis for those estimates. The estimator can reference RS Means, past job costs, break-downs of cycle times, or others. We also need a schedule prepared with Microsoft Project.
The project consists of clearing and grubbing, demolition of existing asphalt, excavation, haul to waste, embankment, placing of Government supplied temporary bridge including supplying and placing temporary abutments and government supplied wood deck planking, demolition of existing large diameter plate CMP culvert, driving of steel H Pile bridge abutment support, cast in place concrete pile caps and wing walls, bulb-tee precast concrete girders, structural backfill, aggregate base course, asphalt concrete paving, bridge railing and guardrail, signage, pavement striping, stream simulation channel grading and restoration, riprap, removal and salvage to Government of concrete barriers, construction signage, and temporary bridge, survey layout and staking, associated erosion and sediment control, associated temporary construction signage, and traffic control.
