My company is looking to hire a few passionate and experienced writers who cares about their craft and wants to move people with stories. Not only are we looking for talent, but were interested in fostering a long-term relationship with the writers we hire.

One thing were a stickler about is deadlines. Before continuing, please be honest with yourself and with us. We cant work with people who dont meet deadlines. Please dont apply if this is you.
A little bit about us:
We write steamy, contemporary, fun and sexy, spunky romance. Our books are trope driven, i.e., bad boy, fake marriage, boy next door, billionaire etc.
We offer a steady stream of work, an in-house creative team to help with every aspect from plotting, editing, intimate scene creation, etc.
All our books include steamy scenes, so make sure youre aware of that when you apply. If this is something youre not comfortable writing (explicit erotic scenes sprinkled through our love stories).
Heres what were looking for in our writers:
-Native English speaking, contemporary romance fiction writer.
Able to complete 80k per month with a weekly submission of 20k minimum. If you are able to write more, then the opportunity for you to make more is available.
-Able to take direction and implement edits. We know exactly what we want. Like with any job, were going to work with you on this, and expect to see you grow as a writer with us.
-NO PLAGIARISM. No old ideas and nothing shared with a previous client. We take legal action in these scenarios.
-Able to complete professional, chapter-by-chapter plot outlines. We will provide the themes and tropes.
-Accessible and communicative. Dont leave us hanging without a word from you.
Lastly, please let us know your turn around time for 80K, as well as your current rates.
NOTE: Please do this exactly as asked.
Please send me the FIRST chapter ONLY from your best romance. Also, send a steamy scene as well. If you dont send exactly that, we wont consider you for this position. Please start your proposal with the phrase Red Owl so that its clear you read the entire post.
If youre selected, you will be given a writing prompt to complete a 5k sample for $50. This allows us to see if the voice is a good fit. If that is approved, youll move on to the interview - this must be a voice call so we can get a feel for who you are and whether youre a good fit for the company.
