I am looking to recreate a directory site
The site was made with Divi and Web 2.0 and it has directories for each category but I want those categories to be easily customizable
Necessary functionalities of site:
1) visitors can search site by keyword input, dropdown menus all without having to login
2)want to be able to select if the
3) anyone can submit a listing once they create an account, and provide necessary details
4) We want to search by city , state , zip or county . When visitors select the criteria the relevant listing holder will have a profile that shows up on the right hand side. This profile displays the listings photo and contact in with a form that allows that person to contact them directly. This form includes basic name, email, number, and comment box.
5)When it comes to the listing holder's profile it has to be in every city that holder covers .( Google maps is good to use as they go off the postal zips and cities )
6)The site has to be very user friendly and well and easy for us to access and be able to create and edit profiles and add and remove listings as needed.
I do not want to have to do a alot of back end work which is why I want the site made in Divi so I can further edit it as needed. I want to be able to put Google Adsense the same was as that site is and I want the menu/category structuring to be as easy to change as possible.
For example, the website's basic idea to show Tampa Florida United States based 'contractors' (home remodelers). I want to easily be able to change the idea to have it be restaurants, hair salons, or whatever else I want. The issue I've came across with most directory themes and plugins, is the large amount of adding shortcut, customizing menus etc. it becomes very time consuming. I do not want to have to spend alot of time on the backup to change out the site. If you can make the site as lean and functional as possible, this is exactly what I want.
I've found this theme
https://dividiva.com/annuaire/ it uses the Business Directory Plugin. I don't know if it can used to create the above site, but my goal is to not have to deal with alot of CSS and backend customizations to make a site with the look and feel. I put this section here to make sure the project was read it full. In the first line of your response please tell me the first color that comes to your mind.
I'll be providing the page content, images, and business info of course. Curious to know how long something like this would take and what your cost would be. I need a developer who has good speaking English and good communication because as these project goes, we will be talking much over screenshare going over the site and such. Verbal English fluency is a must.
Please let me know how long it'd take to make a site and if you could make it with the Annuaire child theme without having to do a lot of CSS.
