We have a quite simple design for a blog, which has been created in Figma.
You should now implement this design in a component structure in Gatsby.
In this first iteration, the design consists of:
* An overall layout with header and footer
* An index page listing all posts (PostCards)
PostCards can have three different sizes Large, Medium, Small
* A category page listing all posts (PostCards) of a given tag
Almost the same as index, but using another PostCard type (Extended) with more text
* A detail page for blog posts
Along with the full text, this will also show a list of PostCards with related articles. Infinite scrolling will allow users to read the next post and the next and...
* A simple page layout for non-post pages such as imprint etc.
Mobile first, responsive, SEO aware.
Content should be retrieved via GraphQL from Ghost, which is already set up, and we plan to publish the site in Netlify (JAMstack).
Github link will share with you soon, it can be used as a starting point, as it already does many things as we want. Authors should be able mark articles in Ghost so that they appear in the larger or smaller PostCards as needed (private tags).
I think the task is straight-forward and it should be finished within a week -- estimates welcome.
Further iterations with more stuff (comments, other page types) are already in the design phase and will follow if you do a good job on the first iteration.
