We've attempted to port a password self-service tool from a larger application so that it works against our active directory infrastructure. It was originally written for OpenLDAP-based directory services. We cannot get it working.
We need someone who is an expert in both Python and the Microsoft AD ecosystem to help us fix this tool.
We're looking for an individual with knowledge in the following areas:
1) The python-ldap library
2) Microsoft LDAP directory access
3) The heuristics involved in managing active directory accounts through LDAP
Optional (but highly sought after) areas of knowledge:
1) Flask Framework (our tool is a Flask application)
2) Familiarity with restraints associated with managing the unicodePwd and userPassword attributes over a Microsoft Active Directory LDAPS connection.
