We are working on a research project that requires gathering data from specific websites. We need to be able to submit form fields to these websites and scrape the resulting HTML into structured data. Some of these websites use standard HTML form fields and structure, some use angular, node and other JS frameworks. The candidates will be working with our project application development lead, develop to predefined java interfaces and pre-set coding standards. The finished product is expected to be unit testable, compact and high-performing. Our preference for the scraping is JSoup - if you have a better alternative, we're open to suggestions but you must be able to prove your alternative's superiority to JSoup.
The source code will be managed on Github, so familiarity with git and associated tools is necessary. Spring framework experience is a huge plus
