We are seeking someone with translation experience to create Indonesian subtitles for a documentary feature film. Indonesian subtitles need to match the spoken dialogue, with proper punctuation, and be correctly timed so they are in sync with all spoken dialogue.
The film's spoken dialogue is in English [American and English accents] and Danish. English subtitles are provided for the entire film [and are synced], including the sections in Danish. We need someone fluent in English and Indonesian; no knowledge of Danish is required.
The film's run time is 97 minutes. We are using the online translation platform Amara. The film's topic is health-related, so please cite if you have any expertise with medical jargon or have previously translated other projects in the health arena.
We are currently estimating a deadline of Wednesday, August 22. Submissions will be reviewed next Monday, August 13, with the goal of a translator beginning the project by Wednesday, August 15.
Please message me with your experience history, hourly rate, and estimated hours needed for the project.
