Dear Sir/Madam Following a successful career in educational leadership, I spent two years caring for a member of my family. This has now come to an end, giving me the opportunity for a new career challenge, using my transferrable skills, knowledge and experience. I feel that my knowledge, skills and personal characteristics are particularly suited to administrative support and leadership. I am a creative, analytical, approachable and supportive person, who is an open-minded, honest and a team player. I have an eye for detail and accuracy, a can-do attitude and willing to learn new skills. Moreover, I retain a sense of humour, a solution-focused approach and a calm, clear perspective when faced with challenging situations. I am also forward-thinking, reflective and committed professional, with an enthusiastic, conscientious and energetic nature. I am also decisive and resilient, working well under pressure to exercise effective judgements and make informed decisions. I believe in a culture of high expectations and clear communication, and a healthy balance between dedication and pragmatism, where people have the confidence to be both self-critical and critically constructive. I believe that these practices should co-exist within a work culture which celebrates success and highly values integrity, mutual respect and individual wellbeing.
