ABOUT ME

I am Mr. Fritz M. Ferran, a Research and Mathematics teacher, data analyst, math coach and mentor, and speaker with 10 years of teaching experience. I graduated cum laude in the course Bachelor of Science in Mathematics for Teachers at Philippine Normal University. I am currently in my thesis writing in the Masters of Science in Mathematics. As a teacher, I can confidently teach any of the following subjects: Algebra (Intermediate, Advanced, Linear), Geometry (Euclidean, Solid, Analytic), Trigonometry, Statistics, Data Analysis using statistical tools, Combinatorics, Number theory, Graph theory, Complex Analysis, Calculus, Set Theory and Logic, and Quantitative/Scientific Research.

Also, I grow professionally by being affiliated with the following:
1. Asian MathSci League, Inc. (AMSLI) – I am an AMEP mentor of the Math Enhancement program of AMSLI designed to gather, hone, and prepare the brightest learners who are potential contenders and delegates of the country to the International competitions.
2. Philippine Association of Researchers and Statistical Software Users (PARSSU)
3. MTAP
4. Speaking engagement (training math teachers, presenting research experiences and teaching methodologies)
5. Mathematical Society of the Philippines (MSP) – Calabarzon Chapter (2014 – 2015)
6. Aside from being proficient in different educational technologies, I am also an Apple Teacher, Google Certified Educator, and Microsoft Innovative Educator. I can be flexible in the delivery, presentation, and modalities in teaching mathematics.

Aside from teaching, I delve into different speaking engagements. I am a research and data analysis consultant, and book technical reviewer, I also handle summer and remedial classes in Math.

As a purist (in math), I can understand my students through their scratch paper. I always love to share the adventure of understanding the language of mathematics to my students. I always believe that looking into more possible ways to arrive to an answer is more meaningful and adventurous than simply getting and knowing the correct answer.
