ABOUT ME

In Vancouver the topic of real estate is ignored at ones peril. It made sense, I took it to heart; as a result I have been able to indulge an intrinsic curiosity as well as financial sustainability.

I have a BA Honors in Political Science from Queens University, Canada. Upon graduating with distinction from Queens I worked as a research analyst for a multinational commercial real estate brokerage primarily focusing on office leasing and acquisitions.

After 3 years it was clear that I had a innate understanding of the relationships between myriad financial components that are essential to a concrete understanding. Thus, I graduated first in my class in attaining my MSc in Real Estate Finance from The University of Aberdeen, Scotland. This 18 month degree set the foundations for following forays into mixed use development, retail development, acquisitions, capital markets, portfolio strategy, and currently with a not for profit real estate developer with a focus on 80-200 unit below market rental housing.
