ABOUT ME

I am a passionate and driven professional with more than 35 years of career experience leading up to where I headed up the Corporate Communications portfolio in 2 insurers; AIA Malaysia and Syarikat Takaful Malaysia Bhd. My portfolio included amongst others; internal and external communications, traditional and digital media campaigns, company events and CSR management, media and press relations, training and developments, as well as internal proofreading and editing of outbound company communications from across the organizations.
Leveraging on my domain knowledge of the insurance industry, my experience in corporate communications, and my Cambridge-level certifications of the English Language , I am keen to transform these corporate functions; enhance the quality of external communications, ensure accuracy and context, increase the efficacy of digital communications, streamline the training and development of internal personnel for business writing skills and verbal soft skills, and create strategy for better branding and marketing efforts overall.
I am also an experienced editing and proof reader of more than 20 years in this aspect.
