ABOUT ME

I believe that people should hear my stories.

Asking me to write about new technologies, how it works, its necessity, and how it will impact the society is like asking me why i write in the first place. Being the Editor-in-Chief of our university publication for two consecutive years back in college taught me three important things why i should write and should continue to write. First, to be able to inspire your readers, you must begin by knowing your target audience; identify what they already know; what interest them; and how to attack the readers such as the point of view of the arcle to engage them.
Secondly, there are numerous ways and means to aid your write ups such as photos ( can be manipulated for greater impact without twisting the facts); and graphics that can be in the form if infographics or simply graphics. Through engagement with my artist team i learned to use Adobe Photoshop and Indesign as i began to be the layout artist of one of our five releases. I explored my way in printed publishing and online as well.
Lastly, the freedom to expand my knowledge inside the publication taught me that what we write (creative or technical) varies and change through time. At some point we wrote about new technologies acquired by the university to ease access of internet for students, then we come to the point that we evaluate the installation of fiber optics and how it enhance a fatser connection. Most importantly, we read beyound the lines of these improvements and how it will continue to prosper in the next few years as we come to industry 4.0. We conduct studies and indepth articles tackling the need of more research and innovations that students can begin. We aim that these information would eventually have a great impact indirectly or directly to the comunity inside and ouside the campus, the country, and soon the world. Through stories of people, studies, and new found theories we build our way to inform, persuade and mobilize not just students but people inside the campus as well.
Moreover, being a building perfomance analyst as my current job, it opened new opportunities to learn from best architechs and other Mechanical Engineers like me. It help me to be aware of how buildings are the leading comsumers of large amount of energy how we can achieve to lessen it. I become aware of the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification which the USGBC promotes. With this i rest my case to be perfect for the job.

I believe that people should hear my stories, most importantly we should learn to tell their own unique stories for them to be heard
