Admin & Records Assistant / Human Resources Assistant
- Prepares and posts job advertisements, screen applications, arrange interviews, participate in the selection process, and administer pre - employment tests as required.
- Provides assistance in hiring process activities such as posting jobs, reviewing applications, initial interview and background check and maintaining a spreadsheet on tracking applicant’s status.
- Establishes, maintains and controls employee 201 file records, department files and correspondence.
- Prepares source documentation needed for new hires, or effective changes in pay, status, or benefits.
a. Pre-employment requirements issuance and document checking completion
b. Employment Contract preparation
c. COE preparation upon request
e. Assignment of biometric to new employee
- Maintains employee file records up-to-date by handling changes in employee status in timely manner.
- Ensures all relevant filing of documents in an orderly and timely manner
- Assists seafarers in routing their clearance in order to check what liabilities should be settled and to process their last pay
- Do other tasks as may be assigned by the immediate superior such as admin works and assisting payroll.
