ABOUT ME

Hello, my name’s Sanaa. I’m a Canadian experienced English teacher with over 10 years teaching experience. I’m also a CELTA certified teacher from Cambridge University, with a Bachelor of Arts from Athabasca University in Canada. I have also received Early Years Child Education training by Maple Bear Global Schools to promote and to export Canadian education abroad as well. Some of my teaching experiences were in Canada. I was mainly a teacher’s assistant in a Montessori school there. Others were in Morocco. During my 10 years of teaching, I worked in different settings. I worked in many language centers with children from ages 6 to 17 as well as adults from all walks of life. I taught all CEFR levels for both children, teens and adults; of course, using the proper pedagogical materials suitable for each age group. With some of the adults I had the pleasure to coach, I taught English for Specific Purposes such as Business English, Diplomatic English to diplomats, Legal English to judges and English for engineers. At those language centers, I taught both one-on-one classes as well as group classes with all age groups. In addition to that, I worked at several higher education institutions. I taught English for Tourism at some and English for Graphic Design and Interior Design at others. What’s more, I worked for a well-known British University as a Public Speaking trainer. My main role there was to help young Business students become more confident public speakers in front of large audiences. I also taught Business English there. I have acquired many skills along the way in my field. I can teach Public Speaking and coach people into becoming natural English speakers. I can teach adults as well as children in a fun way/making boring grammar lessons come to life. I can make lessons as student-centered as possible. I'm also able to make learning appealing to all learning styles: visual, audio, and kinesthetic. What's more, I can use Word Processing, Interactive Software, Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Google MEET.
