ABOUT ME

Hello! I am Sulagna from India. I have been working in the field of Adult Learning for 5+ years. I have been a part of Learning & Development and Organisational Development & Performance Management divisions of various corporate establishments such as business consultancies and service providers. As a trainer, I have experience in technical, process, soft skills, language, and behavioral training. As English has been the official and business language used across all the companies that I have worked for, English has been the medium used in all of my training experience.

I am certified as an ESL teacher by The Asian College of Teachers which is accredited and endorsed by reputed national and international bodies such as The Cambridge Assessment English, Training Qualifications, UK (TQUK), City College Birmingham (CCB), All India Council of Education (AICE) etc. It is also recognized by TESOL Canada and International Association of Teachers of English as a Foreign Language (IATEFL).

As an English language trainer, my focus areas have been grammar and phonetics. The aim of my training has been to ensure that my students build native-level speaking abilities and business writing skills. As a subset of language training, I have coached people on the following topics: business writing, Email communication, telephone communication, presentation skills, public speaking, effective questioning techniques, instructional writing/script writing for e-learning lessons and videos, and briefing skills.

I have an IELTS (general) score of 8.5. I have experience comprehending accents of native speakers of English such as American, British, and Canadian as well as accents of non-native speakers of English such as Indian, Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese, Spanish, and Russian.
