ABOUT ME

I am a neuroscientist with 5 years of experience as a mental health coordinator/assistant at Skoun, Lebanese addiction center, the Psychiatric hospital of the Cross and Local NGOs in my region. During this time, I have provided counsel and effective guidance to a number of patients with mental conditions especially suicidal individuals and/or substance dependent patients. Providing counsel to patients on the basis of their problems and past records, collaborating with doctors and nurses in order to come up with an effective treatment plan, monitoring patient progress and providing professional advice to patients' families were some of the job functions that I carried out in my capacity as a mental health consultant. During my counseling jobs, I was used to write detailed medical courses related to mental health and behavior. I have also dealt with many individuals coming from different background and who had suffered mental/social crisis such as abuse.
I have also worked thoroughly on adequate studies’ methodologies (i.e. psychosocial questionnaires) to conduct on Lebanese population concerning care of mental development and factors that might affect mental health and also how to provide support. Studies were conducted mainly on school aged children to research scholarity, development and Health among Lebanese population. In my researches, very detailed scientifically proven courses, proposals and articles must be written during the process of each study.
